It is important for women self defence to be learnt. Women are seen to be easy targets, and often are the victims of muggings and rape. The psychological and physical damage that an attack can have on a woman is scarring. It is therefore in every woman’s best interest to be prepared for that attack and learn women self defence.

Women self defence can be learnt by forming an understanding the different kinds of violence that is experienced by women all over the world. as well as the physical attack, it is also vital for a woman to understand the social and psychological barriers are victims of in learning to fight back. Too often women are undermined and thus seen as an easy target.

Women self defence includes the ability to gain both physical and verbal defence skill to use against your attacker. This must also be combined with the will power to use the self defence skills you possess. It is not uncommon, when faced in a situation to be unsure of one’s abilities. So it is vital to learn that will power, and push past your fear.

Women self defence will also provide every woman with perfect opportunity of exploring anger, grief and fear. The ability of using your own inner voice and power is very rewarding. All this you will discover when training in women self defence. It is important to be physically and mentally ready for an attack.

Women self defence is based on exactly the same principles of any self defence. It is very important to be constantly aware of all the people in your immediate surroundings. Never be completely on your own, and if you suspect you are in danger of an attack, go towards other people. This will no doubt scare your attacker off. If you are faced with an attacker, try an maintain a barrier between you and the attacker, and attract as much attention as possible.

Women self defence also maintains that you must use your own individual strong weapons against his weakest targets – that is his body parts. So do aim your fist or knee at his groin. Use your fingers to poke him hard in his eyes. Should you be carrying any sharp objects, such as car keys, use them as a weapon.

There are a number of different organisations that have been established or women self defence only. Women are seen as fragile, and easy targets. An attacker will grab a woman’s bag, before attempting to grab a man’s wallet. As a woman, you are potential a victim. It is therefore in your best interest to learn women self defence and protect yourself against the worst.

So many of us are guilty of believing that it will never happen me. But it does. You are always a potential victim, and you should save yourself the physical and psychological damage of an attack by learning women self defence. Even carrying something as simple as pepper spray, might keep you alive. Look after yourself and learn women self defence.
