Self Defense Techniques for Women

A strong instinct for survival combined with specific physical training is a devastating combination. When a person is attacked, they have no time to think and to survive, you must act instinctively. When you have the right training in self defence techniques for women, reaction to a violent attack becomes a natural, conditioned response.

Criminals look for easy targets and defending you using the techniques learned at a course in self defence or woman proves to at least one criminal that not all women are easy prey.

Awareness is the most important self defence for woman – use all your senses to keep you informed of what is happening around you. Be alert and aware of dangerous situations; discover how to use your natural instincts to protect and defend yourself. You will soon master the basics of assessing your environment for weapons and escape routes. By learning the basic self defence techniques for women you will come to know the most sensitive vital points on the human body and how to strike them to effectively disable an attacker long enough to run away.

At a class of self defence techniques for women you will learn that if an attacker comes close to you, it is critical to keep them from grabbing hold of you, striking you, or pushing you down. You will learn how to use your elbows, knees, and natural weapons to get away from an attacker. What to do when someone grabs you; escaping a bear hug from behind; dealing with someone trying to tackle you; what to do if you are on the ground and your attacker is trying to kick you; what to do if your attacker is on top of you; dealing with two attackers; stopping the handbag thief.

You will be shown how to turn any object you may have on hand into a weapon – Keys, shoes, a cell phone or even a magazine. Self defence techniques for women include knowing how to read a situation at an ATM, a traffic light or on the street. If you arm yourself with a course in self defence for women you will learn how to create an attitude, project a feeling of confidence that is vital in avoiding an attack in the first place.

If all prevention fails, a good training in self defence techniques for women will automatically bring the physical moves that you have learned into practice. By doing this you will never have to experience the moment of terror when you realise you are not strong enough to fight off your attacker. Being a victim stays with you for life and by successfully defending yourself against a criminal you make the world safer for other women by proving that you are not easy prey.
